It is hot! 115 degrees today. But on the bright side, our AC kept it down to 99 inside our van. I honestly don’t know how Marines and soldiers are outside right now with body armor and helmets on, running around fighting. Crazy.

Memorial Day was a blast. Toby Keith was on a tour around Iraq, and had a concert here Monday night. It was a lot of fun, he was up there about 45 minutes, then took another 45 minutes afterwards to take pictures with Marines. I think it’s pretty incredible that he took the time to come out here and entertain us, especially on a holiday. God knows I would rather be on a beach somewhere with a nice cold beer. And I heard from a friend that he’s got a show in Dallas/Fort Worth on Saturday! Busy guy.

Other than the concert everything has been the same. Long days, short nights, and a lot of heat. I don’t really have much to say right now, but if you guys will send some questions I’ll answer them.
