Today’s my 22nd birthday, and I had a thought. My 18th birthday was in Florida, 19 was in Mississippi, 20 was in Okinawa, 21 was in Virginia, and 22 is in Iraq I guess the military will do that to you. I don’t have much new to say, so I figured I’d tell everyone what our typical day is like here not being a grunt.
530am: Wakeup/shower/shave
600am: Go to breakfast
700am: At work
100pm: Go to lunch
145pm: Sit around at the chowhall to avoid going back to work
215pm: Back at work
Usually 830pm: Go to dinner
Around 915pm: Back at the barracks/real close to bedtime
As you can see, not much spare time at all. At work (except when we’re goofing off) we’ve constantly been trying to fix our van. I said before it was all down, and that was an understatement. This is another short post, sorry. And to the people who know me saying “you don’t have to work, you’re a weather tech”, apparently we have to out here.
