On Fugly

Dr Barry is not a real Doctor, but he does play one on the internet. He is a real mental health Therapist though, specializing in the treatment of personality disorders and other things that are incurable, but are covered by insurance. Dr Barry joined the Fugly staff at the invitation of Martin, who he treated (unsuccessfully) for Hypnogogic Hallucinations and Pica.

Before joining the Fugly staff as Head Doctor, Dr. Barry interned with the legendary Dr Phil, who proudly called him, "mini me". He also gained a broad base of experience working in prisons, foster care, churches, boot camps, community AIDS clinics, drug treatment centers, and by listening to all the therapist who treated him prior to "the miracle cure of '93."

A native of Alabama, Dr B, as his close friend and associate Dr Dan calls him, has been happily married for 19 of 25 years. He has two children, both of whom are forbidden to visit this web site because of the pedophiles and psychopaths that lurk here.

An all around good guy, Dr B is currently stable on meds.

Hobbies & Interests:

Dr B's real passion is Nuts, but he does find time to squeeze in a few hobbies. Living close to the Gulf, fishing is a given. Dr B. relieves his stress by building houses with large power tools. (The rumors concerning using these tools to harm children is a projection of Dwaine Scum's arrested development, and are blatantly untrue.) He also likes to grow flowers and tropical ferns, and sees no reason to feel less of a man because of it. A recent interest is sleeping. More on that as it becomes regular.

Friends & Family:

Dr. B has TONS of friends, none of which he has communicated with in over three years unless you count email. He confides in his closest friend Lucy, who is a cross bred De' OG. As far as family, this is Fugly, where everyone knows the real you, and considers you kin. Good night Jim Bob!
