That's what worries me about this election, the arrogant confidence the republicans seem to have. They hijacked the last two elections, and while I'd be tinkleed, I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again. We have to come up with a more accurate system than the electoral college.

Well of course the Republicans hijacked the last two elections, the entire party is comprised of mystical, omnipotent beings who have the ability to completely manipulate, at will, any election that presents itself. Of course, all of Congress is completely controlled by Democrats at this point, but we'll just ignore that point, won't we?
